iHeartMedia/Memphis announced today that tickets for the 4th annual Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival are on sale now at MemphisChickenAndBeer.com. The event will be held Saturday, August 6, from 6-10pm on the field of the Simmons Bank Liberty Bowl Stadium in Memphis. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit local charity Merge Memphis.
In the past, the event has drawn more than 3,000 attendees. iHeartMedia Memphis stations K97, V101, WDIA, WREC, Rock 103, and 101.9 KISS-FM will be promoting the event by letting listeners know all they need to know about the event. Air personalities Big Sue, Mike Evans, Mic T, Stan Bell, Stormy Taylor and more will be at the event.
In addition, all attendees will receive a souvenir glass, beverage samples, and a portion to benefit Merge Memphis. The event is partnering with Ajax Distributing for all of the alcoholic beverages. For a complete beer list, visit MemphisChickenAndBeer.com. Additionally, there will be live music playing all throughout the evening with live performances by Kevin & Bethany Paige and Chinese Connection Dub Embassy as well as DJ Mic Tee from K97.
Memphis Chicken and Beer Festival maintains a charitable component by contributing proceeds and collaborating with Merge Memphis and Clare's House. Merge Memphis is a non-profit with a mission to serve the most vulnerable population in our community-underserved women. Homeless women make up 34% of the homeless population in the Memphis area. Merge Memphis opened Clare's House in June 2020, which is a 30-bed facility for homeless women in North Memphis. Connect with Merge Memphis and Clare's House on their website.
