iHM Pacific Area President Steve Darnell Adds Riverside

iHeartMedia appoints Steve Darnell as Area President for its Riverside cluster, including operates KGGI-FM, KMYT-FM, KPWK-AM and KTMQ-FM, effective immediately. Additionally, he'll continue to oversee the Fresno, Modesto, Stockton, Monterey, Bakersfield and Spokane markets as Pacific Area President, a post he's held since January, 2020. Prior to that Darnell was Market President for Fresno from 2018-2020. He's also worked as VP/GM of Buckley Radio in Bakersfeld.

"I'm excited to add Riverside to Steve's portfolio of markets," said iHeartMedia Division President Dan Lankford. "Steve has done a great job of elevating the performance of this area, and I'm certain he will form a strong partnership with iHeartMedia Riverside Senior Vice President of Sales Ryan Lieberman.

"I'm thrilled to welcome the Riverside market into the Pacific Area," added Darnell. "Riverside shares many market characteristics and cultural similarities with our other markets in the Pacific Area including great audio brands and veteran sales leadership.
