Founding esports talent Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles and Duncan "Thorin" Shields, along with contributing talent such as Richard Lewis, Christian "IWillDominate" Rivera, Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat, Wolf Schroder, Daniel "Dgon" Gonzales and Alex "MauiSnake" Ellenberg launch Last Free Nation (LFN), a premium multi-platform podcast and digital network that covers esports, gaming and fandom.

Veteran podcast and media entertainment executive Peter Morris (pictured) joins LFN as chief executive officer. Most recently CEO of PodcastOne and formerly of Barstool Sports, IMAX and Funny Or Die, Morris will lead all strategy and business operations for the media platform and content creation network.

"I've been lucky to be on the rocket ship of fast-growing media companies during my career and am especially thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Monte, Thorin and our unparalleled talent to light the fuse on this one as the audience for esports continues to explode and we conquer the podcast and digital media landscape with innovative, authentic, and bold content for our fans," said Morris.

The company's upcoming slate will include companion programming for some of the world's most popular games in esports including "Power Spike," a new League of Legends focused podcast, hosted by Christian "IWillDominate" Rivera, Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles and Daniel "Dgon" Gonzales.

"It's been my dream to create a talent-owned company where the keenest and most creative minds in esports can build something together that they own themselves instead of relying on short-term contracts from third parties that come with strings attached," said MonteCristo. "Peter's incredible knowledge of content creation, distribution, and monetization, as well as a perfect alignment with our long-term creative vision, will unlock myriad new doors for driven esports talent to build something that we own for the first time in our industry."

"In an industry controlled by video game publishers and tournament organizers, esports fans crave more than commoditized content, they want to connect with authentic voices," added Thorin. "Last Free Nation will provide a space for talent of diverse viewpoints to come together to provide honest and entertaining conversations."
