Former Contemporary Christian KKFS-FM (103.9 The Fish)/Sacramento and K-Love air personality Amanda Carroll launches the Brave Podcast Network. The new network will debut with four shows by March 1, including Carroll's "Get Your Brave On," Pulse FM morning host Corey Mann's "What Else?!," Contemporary Christian WNWC-FM (Life 102.5)/Madison, WI host Summer Shepherd's "Thanks! It Has Pockets!" and actress Kerri Pomarolli's "The Drive to School."
Carroll said, "I'm thrilled to join alongside this incredible co-hort of storytellers, comedians and authors to assist them in building and monetizing their personal brands. Together we will make a positive impact in our listeners' lives.
"I'm thrilled to expand my 'get Your Brave On' platform by creating a network of talented hosts creating faith based content that inspires others to live a strong and courageous life. This is a natural expansion of my brand and a great opportunity to use my 24 years of experience in radio and 16 years in creating digital content to help talent I believe in to monetize their brand."
Mann said, "Amanda believes in the power of a story. I am a storyteller, it's a partnership I didn't see coming, but I'm super excited that she has invited me into this 'brave' new adventure."
Shepherd commented, "The opportunity to bring my passions for storytelling, deep conversations, and authentic relationships to bear in a new podcast has me giddy! 'Thanks! It Has Pockets!' will be a podcast for those whose report cards read 'talks too much' and for those looking to develop their communication skills as an everyday missionary. Being able to partner with colleagues I have long admired is the icing on the cake in this endeavor. I can't wait to join Amanda Carroll and her team in empowering a new generation to be Brave."
Pomarolli said, "I'm so excited to be a part of the Brave network. I know we will be in good company with other top quality podcasts. It will be a one-stop shop for excellent programming."
