Radio One Inspirational WPZS-FM (Praise 100.9) in Charlotte promotes midday personality Melanie Pratt to Assistant Program Director. She'll continue to host middays, weekdays from 10am-3pm. Pratt began her career in radio when she joined the on-air staff at Praise 100.9 in 2006. She is a three-time Stellar Award nominee for Gospel Announcer of the Year. Pratt also serves on the board of directors for Inspire the Fire, a program for youth to excel in the arts.

WOSF, WPZS and WOSF-HD2 Operations Manager Jeff "Uzi D" Anderson stated, "Melanie has been eager to grow and learn since the day I met her. She continues to be an amazing talent and has already exhibited the tenacity, passion, and drive to have earned this promotion. I'm looking forward to so much more to come from Mel as she continues to work with the team to grow our Praise 100.9 brand."

Pratt added, "It's a blessing to be able to continue to serve this community through this powerful music that I love so much.
