Voice Talent Elizabeth Westfield Joins ''Radio Health Journal''
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, March 13, 2023 |
Voice talent, Elizabeth Westfield is forging a fresh chapter for long-running public affairs health program, "Radio Health Journal." She is replacing voice talent Reed Pence who's retiring after more than three decades with the show. Westfield received her broadcast journalism degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has worked at the Illini Radio Group voicing commercials and hosting multiple on-air shows covering a variety of issues.
Since 1992, "Radio Health Journal" has provided Americans with national coverage on health, science, public policy and other important topics. Each half-hour show features interviews with experts, allowing listeners to get an inside look at the often unapproachable health landscape. Today, the program airs on more than 630 stations across America.
"This brilliant team of women would not be in these positions today if it weren't for the strong females before our time who demanded a seat in front of the microphone or at the boardroom table," says Executive Producer Amirah Zaveri. "We're thrilled to welcome Elizabeth to the team and look forward to creating more opportunities for women and minorities in the media."
