iHeartMedia New York and media mogul Charlamagne Tha God, in partnership with Mental Wealth Alliance, will celebrate World Mental Health Day by hosting the third annual Mental Wealth Expo, a free event taking place on October 7 from 11am-4pm ET, at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square in New York. Attendees will hear from experts on everything mental health, panels, live podcasting and breakout rooms including MEternal, addressing the complexities of the Black maternal health crisis.
Special guests will include MWA chief mental wealth officer, AAKOMA project founder and leader in youth mental health Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble, television host and producer Carson Daly, clinical psychologist, award winning professor and Black mental health scholar Dr. Rheeda Walker, singer, actress and author Michelle Williams, lifestyle therapist, author and speaker Dr. Jay Barnett, best-selling author Tamika Mallory, Angela Rye, host of "On One with Angela Rye" and more.
"The Mental Wealth Expo was created for anyone who knows they need to start on their healing journey, but don't know the first place to begin." said Charlamagne Tha God. "It's a day for folks to get exposed to mental health experts and resources that can get them on the right path and they get to receive this information for free. It is truly a blessing to be able to do this for a third consecutive year."
Breakout rooms hosted by mental health professionals and field experts will explore various mental health topics including anxiety, depression, PTSD and psychosis; children and teen mental health; writing as a tool for collective liberation and more.
