Report: Dave Luczak to Retire from WKLH at 2024's End

WKLH (Hometown Rock 96.5)/Milwaukee morning host Dave Luczak told listeners on Thursday he will retire from the Saga Communications Classic Rock outlet at the end of 2024, reports the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He's hosted mornings on the station since joining then AC WMGF (Magic 96.5) in 1984. Luczak started his career in Dayton with stints at WVUD and WTUE and spent a year in Rochester, NY alongside Don Girard before he came to Milwaukee.
Luczak remained with the station following its flip to Classic Hits as WKLH in January, 1986 and then its move to Classic Rock in the 2000s. Carole Caine joined the show for news in 1985, and rose to co-host succeeding Girard the following year, and remained until 2015. Luczak currently hosts mornings with Dorene Michaels and Marcus Allen.
