B98.5 Fulfills Christmas Lists of 20 Atlanta Families

WSB-FM (B98.5)/Atlanta gave lucky families a holiday to remember with "Tad, Drex & Kara's Merry Little Christmas." Thanks to the generosity of B98.5 listeners and sponsors, 20 local families will have gifts under the tree on Christmas morning. The Christmas lists, totaling nearly 400 gifts, were fulfilled by donations from our partner, Breda Pest Management and B98.5's generous listeners.

For the 7th year, B98.5 asked its listeners to nominate families in need who deserved a "Merry Little Christmas." Every family had a special story including medical debt, loss of family members, unsafe housing situations and more. Each of these special families had no way to put gifts under the tree this year, so B98.5 came to the rescue.

The families were invited to join B98.5 on-air hosts, Tad, Kara and Abby for a special performance of Cirque du Soleil Echo, under the big top at Atlantic Station. They also received a $100 gift card from Publix and a box full of household essentials, all of which will be delivered by the B98.5 team just in time for Christmas. By giving these families one less thing to worry about this Christmas, B98.5 made the holiday brighter for some very deserving children.

"We are humbled by the generosity of our radio family, who donated their hard-earned money to make sure no child is without the magic of Christmas," commented B98.5's Tad Lemire, Drex Rener and Kara Leigh.
