David Duchovny to Launch First Podcast ''Fail Better''

Lemonada Media has announced launch details for "Fail Better," a new original podcast hosted by actor, writer, director, author and singer/songwriter David Duchovny. Launching May 7, each week Duchovny will explore the topic of failure in all its forms, from the professional to the personal, and the ways in which failure, shame and falling short shaped his and all our lives.

Duchovny stated, "Why am I making a podcast? The best answer I can come up with is that I feel like I've been failing my entire life, so I can speak from plenty of experience. Sure, I was on The X Files and Californication, I wrote some books and made some music. But I also got a literal F in The New York Times. I had a high-profile divorce and a magical mystery tour through rehab. So now I want to get into the way that failure looms over all of us and really shapes who we are. What's good about that, what's bad about that, what's holding us back in shame? Lots to unpack here."

"We have had such a great and at times life-changing experience making this podcast with David -- his openness to learning and the quest to understand human nature is something he brings to each conversation. We are so excited to bring this show into the world," shared Lemonada CEO Jessica Cordova Kramer.

Confirmed guests include Sean Penn, Kumail Nanjiani, Brad Gilbert, and Fred Armisen, along with previously announced Ben Stiller, Bette Midler, Gabor Mate, Sarah Silverman, and "Freakonomics" author Stephen J. Dubner, among others.

The first two episodes of "Fail Better" will be available on Tuesday, May 7 on all major podcast platforms, with new episodes released weekly.
