Adam Copeland has reportedly stepped down as Program Director of Sports outlets KNBR, KGO and KTCT in San Francisco. He'll continue to host the afternoon show "Tolbert and Copes" with Tom Tolbert. Copeland joined KNBR in 2009 as an intern in the promotions department at KNBR and was later hired at KNBR as a part-time board operator. In 2017, he was promoted to fulltime producer of "KNBR Tonight," was named host of "The Leadoff Spot" from 5am-6am and served as producer/board operator of the "Murph and Mac Show."
In 2018 he began co-hosting the San Francisco Giants pre-game show on KNBR and then joined KNBR's coverage of 49ers pre- and post-game shows. Copeland added afternoons in 2022 and was elevated to Program Director in November, 2023.
