Lee Named Producer for ''The Grunge Garage with Bob Stei''
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, July 1, 2024 |
Scottish radio programmer and personality Rob Lee is named producer for Bob Stei's syndicated 1990s "The Grunge Garage" radio program. Lee, who operates several Internet stations on RLB Media, is also the production voice of the program. He takes over for Rhett Butler who will be moving on to other opportunities while still running the program's website at retrorockradio.com/garage.
"Having known Bob for a few years now and having worked with him on several projects including being the 'voice of the show' it's a thrill to now also take on producing 'The Grunge Garage,' continuing the fantastic work Rhett has done to make the show what it is, continuing the legacy of a top producer," commented Lee.
"Rob has the same passion for old school radio that I do," commented Stei. "The fact that he's from Scotland makes it a great fit with the European feeling I want the program to have."
"I can't thank Rhett Butler for all he did to grow this show from an Internet 'hobby' to a successful syndicated program around the world. I know he will be a continuous success with his syndicated program 'Retro Rock Rewind' and whatever else he decides to do," he added.
The Grunge Garage, now in its fourth year of production, is distributed through Fishnet Syndication and currently has around 30 FM, AM and Internet affiliates globally.
