iHeartMedia Names Kim Williams Area President for AK-HI

iHeartMedia Alaska and Hawaii and its more than 17 stations appoints Kim Williams as Area President, effective October 1, following the retirement of Andy Lohman. She joins the Alaska/Hawaii markets from Fairbanks, where she most recently served as the Market President. Williams also served as an Account Executive for Pacific Star AM/FM and Sales Manager for Clear Channel Communications in Anchorage.
"I have had the privilege of working with Kim over the past four years while she served as Market President for Fairbanks. I'm excited to see Kim's passion and experience expand to all of the iHeartMedia stations across the entire Alaska and Hawaii area," said iHeartMedia Division President Dan Lankford.
"I am grateful to iHeart and thrilled for the opportunity to work with these incredible markets. Alaska and Hawaii are two of the most diverse, extreme, and beautiful states. I'm incredibly proud to learn from and contribute to our amazing teams in Honolulu, Fairbanks, and Anchorage," added Williams.
Williams began her career at Pacific Star which eventually became iHeartMedia. She is a graduate of Baylor University and University of Alaska Fairbanks with an MA in Professional Communication.
