KQKS (KS 107.5) in Denver is making a major shift in its music strategy. Starting Friday at 1pm, the Audacy Hip Hop outlet is adding more Throwbacks. The stars that helped build the legacy of KS, including Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DMX and more, will once again take center stage on the station. In recent months, KS has seen the demand for Throwbacks grow, and will now feed its Denver audience the Throwbacks.

With this shift, KQKS is repositioning the station as KS1075, #1 for Throwbacks and Today. While it will still play a handful of today's biggest rhythm and hip-hop hits, the primary emphasis will be on the most popular Throwbacks from the late 1990s and early to mid-2000s.

The Throwback party started on-air Friday with DMX's "Party Up" and Snoop Dog's "Gin and Juice."
