The Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), has officially opened the call for entries for its 50th Annual Gracie Awards. This milestone event celebrates five decades of recognizing the contributions of women in media, spanning across radio, television, streaming and podcasting.

"For half a century, the Gracie Awards have celebrated the groundbreaking contributions of women in media, serving as a beacon for exceptional content created by, for, and about women. We are thrilled to mark this 50th milestone and honor those shaping the future of news and entertainment," said AWMF President Becky Brooks. In addition to recognizing media excellence, the event serves as the foundation's primary annual fundraiser, supporting scholarships and programs to advance women in the media industry.

The 50th Annual Gracie Awards will honor outstanding individuals and projects across a wide range of media categories, from writers and journalists to producers and directors. This year's awards will continue to highlight the important role women play in shaping media content and representation. Media professionals, networks, and organizations are invited to submit their work to be considered for recognition in this prestigious event.

Taking on leadership roles for the 2025 Gracie Awards are co-chairs The Weiss Agency President Heather Cohen, Hallmark Media Chief Communications Officer Annie Howell and McVay Media Consulting President Mike McVay.
