Dylan Byers, senior correspondent and founding partner at Puck, will host a new podcast titled "The Grill Room," set to launch on October 29. The podcast, produced in partnership with Audacy Podcasts, aims to bring listeners behind-the-scenes insights from the media industry, featuring interviews with notable figures such as Brian Williams, David Zaslav, and Don Lemon.
Drawing its name from the famous Four Seasons' dining spot known for high-stakes media deals and gossip, "The Grill Room" will release new episodes every Tuesday and Friday. The podcast is designed to offer an insider's view into the conversations and dynamics that shape the media landscape.
Before joining Puck, Byers earned recognition as a media reporter at outlets such as NBC News, CNN, and Politico. He is also known for his private email newsletter "In the Room," which delves into the inner workings of American media.
Jon Kelly, co-founder of Puck, praised Byers' influence in media circles, stating, "Dylan isn't just required reading in the media business-he's a combination of Must See-TV, the Voice of God, and the industry's ultimate arbiter-referee-biographer."
"The Grill Room" adds to Puck's expanding podcast portfolio, which includes titles like "The Varsity," "Impolitic," and "Fashion People," catering to diverse interests from politics to sports and fashion.
