Veteran radio personality Jen Myers has died after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer. Myers, who began her 26-year career in radio at WLCE (Alice 92.9) in Buffalo, NY in 1998, later made significant contributions at various stations, including KSTZ (Star 102.5) in Des Moines and KYKY (Y98) in St. Louis. During her tenure, Myers not only selected music for AC stations such as CBS Radio, Saga Communications and Audacy but also held roles as a morning co-host and Music Director.

She was known for her spirited engagement with listeners, sharing personal stories that ranged from infertility and parenting to her own health challenges. Myers was particularly noted for her stint in the midday slot at Y98, where she concluded her career in April, 2022 to prioritize her health.

Myers was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, which later metastasized to her lungs, advancing to Stage 4 by 2018. Despite undergoing rigorous treatments that included a new chemotherapy regimen, she remained a formidable advocate for charitable causes. Through her efforts, she helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for organizations such as Pedal the Cause, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Pink Ribbon Girls.

Rebecca Domyan, Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Audacy St. Louis, praised Myers' indomitable spirit and commitment to community service, noting her ability to uplift and inspire even amidst personal health struggles.

Jen Myers is survived by her husband, Ryan, and their children, Finn and Nora, along with her parents and siblings. The Farmer family will host a public visitation at The Gathering Church in St. Louis, with a private memorial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Myers' memory to Pedal the Cause, St. Louis Children's Hospital, and Pink Ribbon Girls. A GoFundMe page has also been set up to assist the family with ongoing expenses.
