Cumulus Media's WKQZ-FM (Z93) in Saginaw, MI, and Program Director Matt Bingham have set a new fundraising milestone in the annual Men Wear Pink campaign, amassing over $30,000 to aid the American Cancer Society's battle against breast cancer in Mid-Michigan. This achievement has positioned Bingham and Z93 among the top 30 ambassadors nationwide in the campaign.

Z93's latest effort marks its sixth consecutive year participating in Men Wear Pink, cumulatively raising over $90,000. These funds support critical services including a 24/7 cancer helpline, groundbreaking research, and patient support.

Reflecting on the campaign's success, Matt Bingham expressed gratitude towards the Saginaw community, "Setting a new record of $30,025 raised this year was truly a community achievement. Our listeners and the local businesses were instrumental in helping us exceed our goals. Their generosity fuels our optimism for what we can accomplish next year."

Ashley Wellman, Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society in Michigan, praised the Z93 team's sustained efforts. "Matt and his team have not only raised significant funds but have also played a crucial role in enhancing community engagement and awareness around cancer screenings and resources," she stated.

The funds raised through Men Wear Pink support the American Cancer Society's comprehensive efforts, including cancer research, patient care, and advocacy, to eradicate cancer. Wellman highlighted the importance of community support in these endeavors, noting, "The longstanding relationships built by the Z93 team have been key to expanding our reach and impact in the fight against cancer."

For those interested in contributing to the Men Wear Pink campaign and supporting ongoing cancer research and patient care initiatives, donations can be made through the American Cancer Society's official donation page.
