RADIO ONLINE | Friday, December 13, 2024 |
Lotus Communications appoints Andre Riley as General Manager of its Seattle cluster, effective December 16. Riley will oversee a trio of stations, including Conservative Talk 570 KVI, KNWN-FM (Northwest NewsRadio 97.7 FM & 1000 AM) and Classic Country KPLZ-FM (101.5 Hank FM). He succeeds Kane Biscaya, who has led the Seattle operations in addition to managing 670 KIRN in Simi Valley & Los Angeles since April 2023.
Returning to the radio industry after a stint in real estate since 2018, Riley's career spans over two decades in sales, marketing and media broadcasting, primarily within the Seattle market. His career began in sales for Bonneville, Fisher Communications and Entercom, advancing to General Sales Manager for Fisher from 2000 to 2003 and for Entercom from 2003 to 2008. Following his initial media tenure, Riley served as VP/GM overseeing corporate partnerships at the University of Washington Athletic Department, and similarly for USC Sports Properties from 2016-18.
His return to radio is also a homecoming, having initially honed his craft at Fisher Broadcasting, working with KNWN, KVI and KPLZ from 1995 to 2003.
