SiriusXM, Fantasy Footballers Ink Exclusive Podcast Deal

SiriusXM inks a new partnership with The Fantasy Footballers, a sports podcast network known for its fantasy football expertise. The agreement grants SiriusXM both exclusive advertising and distribution rights for audio and video formats of "The Fantasy Footballers Podcast" along with its associated shows.

Starting in March, episodes of "The Fantasy Footballers Podcast" will be broadcast on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio channel 87 and will remain accessible on major podcast platforms. The partnership extends to offering SiriusXM listeners additional content tailored for the fantasy football season, including exclusive daily fantasy tips and a weekly live segment.

The Fantasy Footballers, celebrating a decade of podcasting as of the 2024 NFL season, is a premier fantasy football podcast that regularly tops sports podcast charts and maintains the largest fantasy football channel on YouTube. Between 2023 and 2024, the network achieved over 140 million downloads and views.

Mike Wright of The Fantasy Footballers highlighted the enhanced content offerings for SiriusXM's audience and the potential for even greater engagement with fantasy football fans, known collectively as the FootClan.

SiriusXM Media, the company's advertising arm, will handle global ad sales for all formats of the podcast, including "The Fantasy Footballers Dynasty Show," "The Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast," and "The Spitballers."

Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer at SiriusXM, remarked on the strategic value of integrating The Fantasy Footballers into their network, noting the unique blend of entertainment and information the show provides. This partnership is set to amplify subscriber satisfaction and broaden the audience base for The Fantasy Footballers.

This addition bolsters SiriusXM Media's portfolio, which includes exclusive deals with other major podcasts such as "Call Her Daddy," "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," and "SmartLess."
