Reid Holsen has announced his retirement as Creative Services Director and Assistant Program Director at Contemporary Christian KNWC (Life 96.5), part of Northwestern Media in Sioux Falls. His departure marks the end of an 20-year tenure that began in 2004.

Holsen's career at Northwestern Media saw him taking on various roles, from Network Programming Consultant to voice talent, before rising to Assistant Vice President for Media between 2005 and 2008. After a stint working for the City of Sioux Falls, Holsen returned to Life 96.5 fulltime in 2021.

Reflecting on his long-standing career, Holsen shared, "I have loved every minute of being in radio since I started as a junior in high school. I am so grateful to have had the privilege to be a part of Northwestern Media for the past 20 years. I am living proof of the power of Christian radio - it changed my life as a listener before I joined Northwestern. What a blessing it has been to be a part of this ministry."

Life 96.5 Station Manager Jeff Rupp praised Holsen's dedication, stating, "Reid's legacy at Life 96.5 and Northwestern Media is a strong commitment to excellence in programming and promotions to connect with people and share the love of Jesus. The staff and listeners will miss his loving encouragement each day."
