VSiN, The Sports Betting Network, introduces a new programming lineup to cater to bettors during the NFL offseason. The updated schedule features a broader focus on a variety of sports, aiming to provide comprehensive betting insights.
"VSiN covers the football season like no other network can, but now is the time of year when the team can really flex its muscles across other sports betting markets, including basketball, hockey, golf, baseball, tennis, and horse racing," said Steve Cohen, Executive VP of Talent & Programming at VSiN. He emphasized the network's commitment to providing extensive coverage on any sport open to betting, promising to enhance offerings for an expanding audience base.
As part of the programming overhaul, Jensen Lewis, former Major League Baseball pitcher, joins Dave Ross as co-host of "VSiN By the Books." This show will broadcast live every weekday morning from 7-10am ET, available on multiple platforms including SiriusXM Channel 158 and YouTube TV, alongside regional sports networks such as LA Sportsnet and NESN.
Lewis brings a wealth of experience from his nine-season career with teams like the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs, coupled with his analysis work on MLB Network and ESPN as a college baseball analyst.
Additionally, the network is strengthening its focus on prop betting markets with the "Prop Points" show, now hosted by RotoWire's Jeff Erickson and Nick Whalen. This show will delve into player props and fantasy sports markets across various sports, airing weekdays from 2-3pm ET.
