Premiere Networks and Rukus Avenue Radio have partnered to bring the popular podcast "The Bridge with Sammy Chand" to a global audience. Beginning March 31, the program will be available as a one-hour weekday show for international radio outlets outside the U.S.

South Asia, home to over 1.5 billion people, represents one of the largest global media markets. "The Bridge with Sammy Chand" is currently the only daily program focused on the South Asian diaspora. Hosted by Rukus Avenue Founder and CEO Sammy Chand, the show delves into the region's diverse musical landscape, spanning Bollywood, Hindi pop, Punjabi, Haryanvi, and South Asian Hip Hop. Chand connects listeners with the latest developments in South Asian music and culture.

"This is truly a transformative moment for South Asian culture around the world," said Chand. "'The Bridge' has been dedicated to uplifting and sharing the rich and diverse musical culture of our Indian subcontinent, and I can't wait to engage our new audience and welcome them into our daily dialogue."

Tanya Juhasz, Premiere Networks' Vice President of International Business Development, echoed that excitement. "We're excited to partner with Rukus Avenue Radio to offer 'The Bridge' to even more listeners around the globe," she said. "Sammy has created a program that celebrates South Asian culture, and this partnership underscores our commitment to offering top-quality programming that connects with diverse audiences."

Chand's Rukus Avenue Radio has been a key player in the South Asian cultural movement in North America for nearly three decades. In January 2024, it partnered with iHeartMedia to make iHeartRadio the exclusive home for Rukus Avenue Radio. The network features a range of content, including discussions on Bollywood, socially relevant topics, and music genres from Punjabi and Carnatic to the rise of South Asian Hip Hop.
