BFOA Elects Cantrell, Riley & Smyth to Board of Directors

The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) announced the election of three broadcast executives to its board of directors. The new members are Kristin Cantrell, owner and CEO of Seven Mountains Media and CapCity Communications; Kate Riley, President and CEO of America's Public Television Stations (APTS); and Peter H. Smyth, former Chairman and CEO of Greater Media.
Scott Herman, Chair of the Broadcasters Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm about the new additions, stating, "We are delighted that broadcast executives of this caliber will serve on our Board. Their advocacy for our charitable mission is exemplary. Their input and ideas will help us continue to reach out to broadcasters across America to help those in our business who are in critical need."
The BFOA's Board of Directors consists of highly respected individuals from various sectors of the broadcasting industry, all committed to the foundation's mission of "giving back" to members of the broadcast community who find themselves in dire circumstances.
