The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) has unveiled the schedule for the 17th annual "Rising Through the Ranks" seminar, a leadership development initiative tailored for women in the broadcasting industry. The program is produced by RAB and sponsored by Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW). This year's event will kick off with a virtual meeting on August 12, from 11am-2pm CT, followed by in-person sessions in Nashville from August 19-21.

"Rising Through the Ranks provides a rare opportunity to not only learn and connect with our speakers but also build their own networks with their fellow classmates from stations and radio groups across the U.S.," said Mike Hulvey, President and CEO of RAB.

The initiative underscores RAB's commitment to professional development within the industry, especially among emerging female leaders. To facilitate participation, RAB is offering scholarships that will cover the full cost of the program.

"Rising Through the Ranks has long been instrumental in shaping the leadership journeys of so many incredible women in our industry," remarked Sheila Kirby, President of the MIW Board. "This program perfectly aligns with MIW's mission to champion and advance women in media. We're proud to continue supporting this impactful initiative and look forward to welcoming and empowering the 2025 class."

Details on this year's agenda and speaker lineup are expected to be released soon. Interested candidates can apply for scholarships and register at RAB's website until 5pm CT on May 30. Notifications for scholarship recipients are scheduled for June 23. More information can be found here.
