The Museum of Broadcast Communications has unveiled the 24 nominees for the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame, marking the 37th annual class of inductees to be honored for outstanding contributions to the medium.
The nominees were selected by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, which considered input from industry professionals and the public. Voting to determine six of the eight inductees will begin Tuesday, May 27, and run through Monday, June 16. Nearly 1,000 industry members will receive ballots from Votem.com, with oversight by Miller Kaplan's Andrew Rosen.
"What an amazing list of talented broadcasters that have been nominated for induction to the 2025 Class of the Radio Hall of Fame," said Dennis Green, co-chair of the Radio Hall of Fame. "It is an honor to recognize broadcasters that have made an impact on the radio industry and in many cases continue that work today."
Fellow co-chair Kraig Kitchin added, "To receive this recognition for your on-air talents and audience connections is special, particularly given the number of suggestions received for nominations, and the Nominating Committee's extensive deliberations."
Six inductees will be determined by the industry vote, while two additional honorees will be selected by the Nominating Committee. The full slate of eight inductees will be announced Monday, June 30.
The 2025 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 30, at the Swissotel Hotel in Chicago.
