A new Hot AC outlet is making waves in Chico, CA as 105.7 The Mountain prepares for its official launch at midnight on Memorial Day. The station is currently in soft launch and broadcasting at 105.7 FM via translator K289CH and KYIX-HD3 (104.9). Owned by Butte Broadcasting and operated locally by Rob Austin, Operations Manager of The Mountain of Chico Inc., 105.7 The Mountain is being billed as the city's first fully digital radio station.
"We're excited to introduce a truly modern radio experience to Chico," said Austin. "105.7 The Mountain is about more than just music - it's about bringing listeners closer to their favorite songs and artists in a way they can see and hear."
The station's weekday lineup includes The TJ Show (6-10am), The John & Heidi Show (10am-2pm), The Anna & Raven Show (2-6pm) and Mason at Night (6-11pm).
All programming is locally curated in digital format, with a focus on clarity, music quality, and community connection.
