The Cincinnati Bengals and iHeartMedia Cincinnati have announced a multi-year extension of their radio broadcast partnership, ensuring that fans can continue to hear every play of Bengals football through the 2028 NFL season. Bengals games will continue to air on one of the most powerful "triple-cast" setups in the NFL. Flagship stations 102.7 WEBN and ESPN 1530 (a 50kW powerhouse) will remain the core of Bengals broadcasts, with 700 WLW also carrying games that do not conflict with Cincinnati Reds baseball coverage.
"iHeartMedia Cincinnati has been a great partner for many years, and we are excited to continue this relationship," said Bengals Chief Business Officer Brian Sells. "The strong station lineup provides a great platform to reach a large number of fans on gamedays and throughout the week."
In addition to live game broadcasts, iHeartMedia Cincinnati will continue to air weekly Bengals programming during the season, including Bengals Line, Bengals Game Plan, and Bengals Pep Rally. Coverage also includes a weekly feature with Bengals team reporter Marisa Contipelli on WKFX (Kiss 107.1), plus expanded coverage during training camp.
"We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals and bring fans every electrifying moment of NFL action," said DJ Hodge, Division President of iHeartMedia. "700 WLW, 102.7 WEBN and ESPN 1530 are the epicenter of Bengals Nation, and we look forward to delivering top-tier coverage and being the trusted home for Bengals football for years to come."
The broadcast team remains unchanged for the upcoming season. Dan Hoard returns for his 15th year as the Bengals' radio play-by-play voice. Hoard also serves as the voice of University of Cincinnati football and basketball and has previously called Bengals preseason television games.
Former Bengals offensive lineman Dave Lapham, who played with the team from 1974 to 1983, will enter his 40th consecutive season as radio analyst. Lapham has also contributed to NFL broadcasts on NBC, FOX, and Sporting News Radio.
Veteran broadcaster Wayne Box Miller continues in his eighth season as pregame and postgame host. A Cincinnati sports media fixture, Miller's background spans TV, radio, and print, including roles at WLWT-TV, The Cincinnati Herald, and the University of Cincinnati.
The Bengals have called 102.7 WEBN home since 2008.
