The Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) will begin accepting nominations for its 2025 Induction Class starting at noon on Sunday, June 1. Submissions can be made through the official portal at TRHOF.net until Friday, June 30.
In the first phase of the selection process, voting members in good standing -- whether broadcasters, fans, friends, or family -- may nominate individuals they believe deserve recognition for their contributions to Texas radio.
"Some years ago, the TRHOF's Executive Board took steps to ensure that the listening audience, as well as the broadcast professionals involved with the creation and delivery of quality radio, could have a say in this selection process," said TRHOF Executive Director Doug Harris, a 2011 inductee.
For the 2025 cycle, the TRHOF is offering a reduced-rate membership for new voting members. The discounted $25 fee will be available through July 8 at midnight CST.
After the nomination window closes, a TRHOF Review Committee will vet all submissions and narrow the field to up to 50 candidates. Those finalists will then be put to a final vote by the membership, with 20 individuals ultimately selected for induction.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony and Radio Reunion Weekend will take place on November 1 at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX.
