Allegany Communications Names Casey Atkins as OM

Allegany Communications appoints Casey Atkins as its new Operations Manager, marking a homecoming for the broadcasting professional and a return to WVRC Media. Atkins announced the move on social media, noting it comes after a challenging period in his life and a renewed commitment to his radio career.
"Even after facing one of the biggest setbacks of my young life last month, I knew in my heart I wasn't done with radio -- and it looks like radio isn't done with me either," Atkins wrote. "I'm so honored to come back to WVRC Media. I can't wait to work with a whole new team of high-class air talent and sales superstars in this new season of my career."
Atkins most recently served as afternoon host and Assistant Program Director at Beasley Media's WKML in Fayetteville, NC. Before that, he spent five years at WKWS in Charleston, WV, and has also worked in Raleigh at WQDR.
