The Country Radio Seminar (CRS) has released the latest installment of its CRS360 webinar series, titled "Are We Okay? Assessing Country's Year So Far," offering an in-depth look at the current state and trajectory of the Country format as 2025 reaches its midpoint.
Now available for viewing at CountryRadioSeminar.com, the session features a panel of respected industry professionals -- all members of the CRS 2026 Agenda Committee -- sharing expert insights into the trends, challenges, and opportunities facing Country radio this year and beyond.
Moderated by Country Aircheck's Chuck Aly, the discussion includes Sarah Frazier (Audacy/Houston), Katie Dean (Leo33), and Jimmy Steal (Collective Heads). Together, the group offers a well-rounded, forward-looking analysis of the format's performance across programming, consumption, and audience engagement metrics.
CRB Executive Director RJ Curtis noted, "The country music genre continues to explode, dominating radio programming and consumption numbers. This group of industry experts who are working day-to-day in the trenches from all aspects in our industry has a lot to say about how we're doing so far in 2025, ways to sustain success, and insights on what the short-term future may look like. It's a fascinating conversation."
Beyond a mid-year check-in, the webinar also offers a glimpse into the early planning behind CRS 2026, with panelists contributing ideas that may shape next year's educational content. The session is part of the ongoing CRS360 series, which aims to keep the industry informed and connected between annual CRS events.
