Robby Bridges, longtime radio programmer and VP of Programming at Press Communications for New Jersey's WWZY & WBHX (99.7 and 107.1 The Boss), has launched a new syndicated weekend radio show, "Robby's Top 20 Countdown."
The two-hour show, which soft-launched earlier this year, takes listeners back to a single standout year from the 1980s or 1990s, counting down the top 20 Classic Hits from that era. It is currently airing on The Boss in New Jersey and 108 WEBE in Bridgeport, CT.
Bridges is offering a Fourth of July weekend special edition of the program -- completely commercial-free and free of charge -- to any station that agrees to begin carrying the show by August 1st.
"We're excited to bring the best of the '80s and '90s back to life each weekend," said Bridges. "It's a fun, high-energy show that resonates with fans of classic hits, and we're looking forward to welcoming more stations into our growing family."
Stations interested in airing the show or receiving the holiday special can connect via Facebook at @RobbysTop20Countdown or via email.
