iHeartMedia has added another standout to its podcasting empire. The hit Gen Z podcast "Emergency Intercom," hosted by comedians Enya Umanzor and Drew Phillips, is now part of the iHeartPodcasts network. Known for its unpredictable humor, bizarre tangents, and off-the-wall chemistry between the hosts, the show has gained a strong cult following since launching in 2021.

Effective immediately, all new and archived episodes of "Emergency Intercom" will be distributed through iHeartPodcasts. Fans can expect more of the same chaotic brilliance that made the show a mainstay on the comedy charts, along with a few new twists: a fresh visual brand, an expanded guest lineup, and the potential for even more absurdity.

"'Emergency Intercom' is one of today's most original and refreshingly honest shows - and with such delightful talent in Enya and Drew, the podcast has built an incredibly loyal Gen Z following," said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. "We're thrilled to welcome them to the iHeartPodcasts family and look forward to helping them grow their audience with our scale and reach."

Umanzor and Phillips said they're embracing the move as a new creative playground: "We enjoy the new sphere of podcasting that blends visual sketches with verbal improv. Our hope by the end of the year is that most are left confused as to whether it's a scripted show or just two idiots who get into stupid situations and have the need to talk about it."

Since debuting in July 2021, "Emergency Intercom" has racked up tens of millions of streams and established itself as a cultural touchpoint among younger listeners. Enya and Drew have also become sought-after collaborators for brands and media campaigns, thanks to their offbeat humor and unfiltered takes.

The show now joins iHeart's growing lineup of Gen Z-focused podcasts, which includes titles like "Psychology of Your 20s," "Therapy Gecko," and "Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice." The program is available on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms.
