Triton Digital Releases June 2025 U.S. Podcast Ranker

Triton Digital has published its latest U.S. Podcast Ranker for June 2025, detailing the top-performing podcast networks and shows as measured by its Podcast Metrics service for the period of June 2-29.

The iHeart Audience Network maintained its dominant lead in the Top Sales Networks Report, posting 68.7 million average weekly downloads and 19.2 million average weekly users. NPR followed in second place with 27.6 million downloads and 7.2 million users, while the Audacy Podcast Network came in third, logging 14.7 million downloads and 5.5 million users.

Among individual podcasts, "NPR News Now" continued to top both download and listener charts for a third consecutive month. NPR's "Up First" remained in the #2 position in both categories, while "Stuff You Should Know" (iHeart) held the #3 spot for downloads and "The Shawn Ryan Show" (Cumulus Podcast Network) ranked #3 for listeners.

Several new shows made their debut on the ranker. Appearing in both download and listener charts were "This American Life" (NPR), "Relatos de la Noche" (iHeart), and "What Happened to Talina Zar" (iHeart). Additional download-only debuts included "Garage Logic" (Gamut) and "Murder: True Crime Stories" (Audacy), while listener-only debuts featured "News Reports" (LAist Studios), "The David Rutherford Show" (iHeart), "Newshour" (BBC), and "Your Daily Prayer" (Salem).
