Texas Radio Hall of Fame Announces 2025 Inductees

The Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) has announced 20 broadcasters who will be inducted into its Class of 2025. The honorees, listed in alphabetical order, are John Breland, Bill Coates, Steve Coffman, Chuck Conrad, Kevin Dorsey, Bruce Gilbert, Henrietta Hernandez, Jay Howard, Joe Izbrand, Chris Kelley, Bob Lewis ("Tumbleweed Smith"), Harold Mann, Brian Purdy, Jerry "The Car Pro" Reynolds, Ken Rush, Rod Ryan, Ray Schilens, William "Chilly Bill" Smith, Rudy Trevino and Tom Tynan.
The induction ceremony will take place Saturday, November 1, at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX, as part of the TRHOF's annual Radio Reunion and Induction Weekend.
In addition, TRHOF has named five late broadcasters as 2025 Lone Star Legacies honorees: Alberto Alegre Calvo, Randy Lemmon, Gary Mason (Aycock), Susan O'Donnell and Tom Perryman. The designation, introduced this year, recognizes posthumous contributions from Texas radio professionals whose influence continues to resonate.
"This year's list reflects the diversity and excellence that define Texas radio," said TRHOF Executive Director Doug Harris in the earlier finalist announcement. "From behind-the-scenes innovators to on-air icons, the nominees represent a broad range of markets, formats, and roles in broadcasting."
