Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) and the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) have opened the application window for the 2025 LAUNCH Mentorship Program. Sponsored by Mr. Master and Premiere Networks, the initiative is now accepting submissions through September 18, 2025.

Launched in 2023, the year-long program is designed to support emerging female talent in radio, with a focus on careers in engineering, audio production, and technical operations. Each year, one rising professional is paired with a seasoned industry leader for one-on-one mentorship and in-depth exposure to the technical side of broadcasting.

The selected mentee will gain experience across key areas such as FCC compliance, RF systems, emergency alert systems, IP-based broadcast systems, automation, and network operations. The program also covers IT, remote broadcasting, digital audio, streaming, and systems integration. The recipient will also attend the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

"By focusing on engineering and technical operations, we're not only providing critical skills and mentorship, but also ensuring that women have a strong voice in shaping the future of our industry," said MIW Board President Sheila Kirby. "We are deeply grateful to Mr. Master, Premiere Networks, and the NAB Leadership Foundation for their support in preparing the next generation of broadcast leaders."

Michelle Duke, President of the NAB Leadership Foundation, added, "As the industry embraces innovation, we are proud to champion organizations that share our commitment to advancing opportunity and empowering future leaders who will shape the future of local media."

Applications and additional information are available at RadioMIW.com.
