Bonneville Phoenix's annual Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children's set a new fundraising record this year, bringing in $2.45 million through KTAR News 92.3 FM and Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. The event, presented by Valley Hyundai Dealers and Yrefy, is the nation's most successful radiothon of its kind.
"The huge hearts and extraordinary generosity of the KTAR News and Arizona Sports audiences, sponsors, team partners, volunteers and our wonderful employees never cease to amaze me. They are all Champions of Hope," said Ryan Hatch, Bonneville Phoenix Senior Vice President and Market Manager. "With another record-breaking year, we are proud to say that Bonneville Phoenix has now raised more than $28 million in total for Phoenix Children's and the world-class care that they provide for our growing community."
The Give-A-Thon combines on-air fundraising with community support, drawing in listeners, businesses and volunteers across Arizona. Funds directly support Phoenix Children's, one of the largest pediatric health systems in the country.
"We are deeply grateful to KTAR News, Arizona Sports, and our entire community for standing with us," said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer at Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation. "The Give-A-Thon is proof of the incredible generosity here in Arizona-when the call goes out, people step up to ensure every child has access to the world-class care they need and deserve."
Since its launch, the Give-A-Thon has become a cornerstone of local fundraising, helping Phoenix Children's expand its care and resources for thousands of young patients and their families.
