Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) has appointed Joel Clary as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its four Denver radio stations. Clary joins KSE from Salem Media Group, where he most recently served as Regional Multimedia Sales Manager based in Denver.
His prior leadership roles include Director of Sales for Townsquare Media in Fort Collins, as well as senior sales management positions with Cumulus Media Houston, Radio One Houston, and Clear Channel Dallas. He succeeds Dave Fleck, who is departing the company.
In his new role, Clary will oversee all aspects of radio strategy, operations, and revenue development across KSE Media Ventures, which owns and operates Sports KKSE-FM (Altitude 92.5), KKSE (Altitude 950), Hot AC KIMN (Mix 100), and Classic Hits KXKL (Kool 105).
"We are excited for Joel's leadership and expertise as we continue to evolve and strengthen our radio business," said KSE Media President Steve Smith.
On LinkedIn, Clary shared his enthusiasm about the move: "I am incredibly excited to join an organization with such a passionate fan base and an unparalleled portfolio of teams and venues. I look forward to contributing to the continued success and growth of the KSE family." He also expressed gratitude to Linnae Young and the team at Salem Media Group for the "invaluable experience" and professional growth he gained during his tenure.
