Daylight Media has entered into a strategic partnership with former U.S. Navy SEAL and CIA contractor Shawn Ryan to oversee ad sales, distribution, audience development, and marketing for his top-performing podcast, The Shawn Ryan Show. Under the revenue-share agreement, Daylight will provide strategic guidance to expand the show's audience and market presence while Ryan retains full ownership and creative control of the intellectual property.
Since launching in 2019, The Shawn Ryan Show has become an independent podcast known for long-form, unfiltered interviews and investigative discussions, amassing more than one billion views on YouTube.
"The Shawn Ryan Show has always focused on sharing real stories and delivering the unvarnished truth," said Ryan. "Our partnership with Daylight Media allows us to reach an even wider audience, grow the brand, and scale our operation, all while maintaining the creative control our listeners expect."
Steve Wilson, Chief Strategy Officer at Daylight Media, said the collaboration underscores the company's mission to elevate authentic creators. "Through in-depth interviews with people from all walks of life, Shawn has cultivated not only a loyal audience, but a true community built on authenticity and perspective," Wilson said.
Daylight Media provides creators with services including distribution, IP expansion, audience development, and marketing, generating more than 150 million monthly views and downloads. Its roster includes The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart, The Chris Cuomo Project, And That's Why We Drink, and Philosophize This.
