 Black Information Network (BIN) |
iHeartMedia will begin syndicating its Black Information Network (BIN) to stations outside its ownership group starting November 1, expanding the 24/7 news service beyond the 34 markets where it currently airs on iHeart-owned outlets. The new distribution, handled through Premiere Networks, will be offered on a market-exclusive basis.
Stations will have the flexibility to carry BIN content in several ways -- by airing its hourly newscasts, running it in select dayparts, or adopting the full 24-hour format. The move marks the first time BIN programming will be available to non-iHeartMedia broadcasters.
"Over the past five years, the Black Information Network has grown into one of the most trusted and credible news brands serving Black audiences," said iHeartMedia President of Multicultural Business & Development and President of BIN. "Around the clock, Black writers, anchors, and reporters are telling the stories that matter to our community, from a Black perspective."
