Bob Heymann to Speak at MFM Financial Forum

MFM Financial Forum

Media Services Group Managing Director Bob Heymann will speak at the Media Financial Management Financial Leaders Forum in San Antonio on May 18. Heymann will participate in a session titled "Let's Make a Deal...or Not!" presented by the Washington, DC-based firm Bond & Pecaro. The session will be moderated by Tim Pecaro.

Joining the panel is Seth Williams, co-managing member of the law firm Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth.

The discussion will focus on current transaction values, dealmaking trends, and the Federal Communications Commission's outlook on market concentration. Panelists are expected to examine potential deal activity in the coming year while reflecting on the impact of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which led to significant consolidation in the media industry.

The session will also explore whether another wave of ownership concentration could emerge, along with best practices for completing transactions and common issues that can derail deals.
