iHeartMedia and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network (BMP) are welcoming actress and producer Ego Nwodim's award-winning podcast "Thanks Dad" to their slate of shows. The move brings Nwodim's blend of humor, heart, and candid conversation to a broader audience, with season two set to debut Tuesday, October 28.
Listeners can preview the new season through a just-released trailer, now available on major podcast platforms. Each episode will feature Nwodim and a special guest exploring family dynamics, personal stories, and identity. Season one, which featured Andy Cohen, Randall Park, Kyle Mooney, and Bill Burr, earned a 2025 Ambie Award for Best Interview Podcast.
"I'm so thrilled to be partnering with iHeartPodcasts, Will Ferrell and Big Money Players for season two," said Nwodim. "This season, I'm speaking with a broader range of guests, while staying true to the heart of the podcast-to connect, inspire and bring some joy."
Season two will kick off with guest Heidi Gardner as the pair reflect on their Saturday Night Live friendship, their mutual love of Jack Black, and eccentric family stories. Future episodes will feature guests including Tamron Hall and Miguel. New episodes drop weekly on Tuesdays via the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms, with video versions available on YouTube.
Beyond podcasting, Nwodim is expanding her creative reach. She'll make her Off-Broadway debut this fall at Lincoln Center in The Comedy Series, and she recently wrapped the Netflix comedy Little Brother alongside John Cena and Eric Andre. A seven-year SNL veteran, Nwodim is known for viral sketches such as "Miss Eggy" and "Lisa from Temecula," earning NAACP nominations in both 2024 and 2025.
