After more than a quarter-century helping homeowners tackle projects big and small, The Money Pit Radio Show will air its final broadcast the weekend of December 27-28. The syndicated home improvement program, produced by Money Pit Media and Squeaky Door Productions, is concluding its run following the recent passing of show owner and longtime host Tom Kraeutler.
Sue Kraeutler, Tom's wife and co-founder of the production company, acknowledged the difficult decision and expressed gratitude for the industry's support throughout the show's long tenure.
"I want to thank our loyal affiliates and sponsors for believing in us going back to when we first started some 25 years ago," she said. "This wasn't an easy decision, but it's time that we closed the Squeaky Door."
Debuting more than two decades ago, The Money Pit Radio Show grew into one of the country's most recognized home improvement programs, airing on hundreds of stations nationwide. The show became a trusted resource for practical advice, expert insights, and inspiration for DIYers and homeowners alike.
Its final weekend broadcast will mark the end of an influential chapter in consumer home-improvement programming.
