Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) has expanded its board of directors with the addition of four new members and elevated current board member Randi P'Pool to the Executive Board as Secretary. The organization brings together senior-level female audio professionals to mentor and support women developing leadership and management skills across the industry.

Joining the board are Allyson Hillman, Kieran Geffert, Lauren "Lo" Sessions-Barker, and Linnae Young, each bringing extensive experience across broadcast leadership, content, and revenue strategy.

Hillman, celebrating 40 years in broadcasting, is Market President for Townsquare Media in Rockford, IL. Her career includes leadership roles with iHeartMedia, Alpha Media, Beasley Media, and NRG Media. She is a 2019 graduate of the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training Program, a 2023 Radio Ink Best Managers in Radio honoree, and a mentor in the Erica Farber Mentorship in Management program.

Geffert serves as Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Audacy San Francisco, overseeing a major-market cluster that includes KCBS, LIVE 105, Alice 97.3, 102 JAMS, and 95.7 The Game. With nearly 30 years in the industry, she has held senior sales and leadership roles dating back to CBS Radio and is known for driving integrated revenue growth and developing high-performance teams.

Sessions-Barker is Assistant Program Director, Music Director, and afternoon host at KKBQ (93Q Country) in Houston. Her career includes stops in Tampa, Morgantown, Portland, and San Antonio. She is a Radio Ink 30 & Under Superstar, a graduate of MIW's Mildred Carter Mentoring Program, and a 2024 CRS & Country Aircheck Large Market Personality of the Year, with multiple ACM and CMA major market nominations.

Young is Chief Revenue Officer of Salem Media Group, where she has spent three decades in a variety of senior leadership roles. A former NBC Television and Ogilvy & Mather executive, she serves on the RAB Board, is a frequent industry speaker, and has been recognized by Radio Ink as one of the Most Influential Women in Radio.

MIW Board President Sheila Kirby said the new additions strengthen the organization's mission and reach, noting that each brings a strong commitment to service and leadership development. She also thanked outgoing board members Lindsay Adams, Angie Balderas, and Haley Jones for their years of service.

The 2026 MIW Board of Directors also includes Nancy Abramson, Becky Brenner, Meg Dowdy, Lisa Fields, Lori Flowers, Sheila Kirby, Dawn Krause, Maria Laing, Jenna Miller, Randi P'Pool, and Leslie Scott.
