Richards Named PD for Eagle & Lone Star 92.5 Dallas

Vince Richards

iHeartMedia Dallas has named Vince Richards Program Director for Rock KEGL (97.1 The Eagle) and Classic Rock KZPS (Lone Star 92.5), effective immediately. Richards will oversee strategy, execution and day-to-day programming for the two rock stations in the Dallas cluster. He will report to Marc Sherman, Executive Vice President of Programming.

Chris Long, Region President for iHeartMedia Dallas-Fort Worth, said Richards brings a strong track record of leadership and experience to the role, calling his addition "a tremendous win" for the company's local team.

Richards joins iHeartMedia from Audacy, where he most recently served as Vice President of Rock Programming. His career includes programming roles in Sacramento, Kansas City, New Orleans and Houston. He began his radio career at WQLZ in Springfield, IL.

Richards said he looks forward to leading the teams at both stations and building on their presence in the North Texas market.
