Nielsen Names Julie DeTraglia Insights Chief

Nielsen has appointed Julie DeTraglia as Head of Content and Strategic Insights, the company announced. In the newly created role, DeTraglia will lead strategy for Nielsen's editorial marketing content, including social media, insights articles, client communications, events, sales enablement tools and podcasts.
She will be based in New York and report to Sacha Weinberg, Nielsen's Head of Global Marketing. DeTraglia is tasked with shaping Nielsen's marketing narrative, working across data, culture and technology to translate measurement insights into strategic guidance for clients.
She joins Nielsen from Netflix, where she served as Vice President of Ads Measurement. Her background also includes leadership roles as Global Head of Sports Strategy and Research at Amazon, along with research positions at The Walt Disney Company, Hulu and NBCUniversal.
In announcing the hire, Weinberg cited DeTraglia's ability to translate complex data into actionable strategy and identify emerging market trends as key strengths for Nielsen's evolving marketing efforts.
