Skyview Networks is expanding its collegiate sports business through an enhanced agreement with multimedia rights holder Playfly Sports, adding Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at San Antonio while broadening its relationship with San Jose State University.
Under the agreement, Skyview will provide Texas A&M with audio distribution, production and its AdView Inventory Management and Live Read Management software. UTSA becomes a new client for AdView Inventory Management, while San Jose State will add production services to its existing Skyview audio solutions.
"One of our main priorities at Playfly is to give fans unparalleled access to their teams, whether that's at the venue or when they tune in at home," said Playfly Sports Properties President Christy Hedgpeth. "We're thrilled to expand our partnership with Skyview, innovating in ways that directly impact the fan experience across college sports."
Texas A&M will use Skyview's technology stack for distribution, production and advertising inventory management. Select stations in the Aggies' network will also receive broadcasts through Cirocast, Skyview's cloud-native distribution platform designed to deliver programming into cloud, virtual or existing station environments.
UTSA's use of AdView Inventory Management will provide the Roadrunners with increased visibility and control over broadcast advertising inventory. San Jose State's addition of production services expands an existing relationship with Skyview and provides further support for the Spartans' audio broadcasts.
"The addition of Texas A&M and UTSA to our NCAA portfolio along with the expansion of services for San Jose State demonstrates the trust our partners have in Skyview and how these partnerships often grow over time as existing clients look to us for additional services and support," said Skyview Networks Chief Operating Officer Andrew Kalb.
Kalb said Skyview's goal is to provide its collegiate partners with the technology and support needed to operate their broadcasts while creating additional advertising inventory and revenue opportunities.
