"This Morning, America's First News" with Gordon Deal has added 20 new affiliate stations, bringing the nationally syndicated news program's total to 325 affiliates across the country. Among the latest additions are KMOX-AM in St. Louis, WCCO-AM in Minneapolis and KMBX in Las Vegas, expanding the program's presence in several major radio markets.
Hosted by Gordon Deal, "This Morning, America's First News" provides listeners with an early look at national and international news, business developments and other major stories. The program combines news reporting, expert analysis, interviews and commentary with a conversational approach to morning radio.
"It's both humbling and motivating to grow listenership and find new partners," said Deal. "We promise to continue leading in the news space."
KMOX Brand Manager Steve Moore said the program complements the station's commitment to news coverage and keeping its audience informed. "Gordon Deal is a great fit for KMOX and our commitment to keeping St. Louis informed," Moore said. "He delivers smart, engaging coverage of the stories that matter, giving our listeners a strong start to their day."
WCCO Program Director Brad Lane also welcomed the addition, citing his familiarity with Deal's work dating back to his years with Wall Street Journal Radio.
"I remember being an 'early adopter' of Gordon's content and shows way back to the Wall Street Journal Radio days, so I've been a big fan of his for many years," Lane said. "We are thrilled that this program is available for our fans at WCCO to wake up to...a comprehensive 'scene-setter' and primer for the day!"
