KDKA-FM (Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan)/Pittsburgh will debut a new weekday lineup featuring already popular hosts on the station beginning January 6. Josh Miller (pictured) will join The Fan's morning show (6-10am) while Andrew Fillipponi will serve as co-host for the station's midday program (10am-2pm). Additionally, Colin Dunlap will move to evenings from 6-10pm.
"Today's announcement is an exciting step forward in the evolution of The Fan," said Program Director Ryan Maguire. "We're eager to showcase this new line-up that highlights the incredible talents of Pittsburgh foremost sports experts."
He continued, "Josh's unique sense of humor and insight will set the tone for the remainder of the day, and in Andrew, we have a solid, thought-provoking sports talk show host who has shown he can deliver an informative and opinion-driven program. Colin has grown both as a talk show host and writer in the past year, and his work has scored big with our audiences. We are all very much looking forward to an exciting 2014."
Miller has served as co-host of The Fan's afternoon program. He is a former Pittsburgh Steelers punter who spent 12 seasons in the NFL and has been with "The Fan" since 2010 as both a talk show host and football analyst.
Fillipponi most recently was host of weeknights (6-10pm). He has been with The Fan since it launched in February, 2010, where he started as late night host. Fillipponi also has anchored the station's pre- and post-game coverage of Pitt football and men's basketball. Dunlap began with The Fan as a parttime host in 2010. The former Pittsburgh Post-Gazette sports writer also is a featured sports columnist at 937thefan.com and a regular contributor on KDKA-TV's "Sports Showdown" program on Sundays.
