Wii Lawsuit Against KDND/Sacramento Goes to Court

It's been two and half years following KDND-FM/Sacramento's "Hold Your Wee For a Wii" contest in which 28-year-old mother of three Jennifer Strange died after participated in the now infamous bladder buster stunt. Now, the Sacramento Bee reports that Strange's family has filed a civil lawsuits against station owner Entercom. Additionally, all three of Strange's fellow contestants are suing.
While ultimately no criminal charges were filed against KDND's morning hosts, a law firm representing the family of Jennifer Strange, filed a wrongful death suit against Entercom and KDND, which also named station management and the former morning hosts. That suit is scheduled to begin August 31.
Now fired morning co-host Adam Cox (aka Lukas) and former "Morning Rave" host Maney, say they plan to sue the station's parent company, Entercom, over wrongful termination.
